Real Estate Focus

It seemed as though it was a state law that you had to have a real estate license to establish residency in the state of Florida.  Doctors, lawyers, housewives, blue collar, white collar, skilled, unskilled, semi skilled, both the professional and the unprofessional- everyone had their real estate sales license.  Real estate was the talk of cocktail parties, water coolers gatherings, casual get-togethers, etc., etc..  It was as though there was no one in Florida who did not have at least his or her finger in the real estate market.  

Now that the market has turned, there really is only room for the professional.  No matter your level of involvement,, you need to know what you are doing.  There are no longer Magic Beans that grow into money trees or casual moments reading classifieds yielding millions.  This is a market that requires knowledge, time and effort.  For those willing to make the commitment, Real Estate is an interesting way to invest and make money.  For those expecting overnight riches by taking orders or just blindly participating, it is time to return to your former line of work.   I call upon the Governor to grant amnesty to those misguided individuals who have seen the error of their ways.  The state should permit you to resign your real estate post and apply for permanent non-sales agent residency.
